FUR - IF YOU KNOW THAT I;M LONELY (2018)


A Nice ‘60s-meets-’00s jangly indie-rock bop from this band from Brighton.


SHANNON & THE CLAMS - THE BOY (2018)

Shannon and the Clams is an indie garage punk quartet based in Oakland, California. Known for a vintage sound that incorporates elements of doo-wop, classic R&B, garage psych, and surf, Shannon and the Clams has drawn comparisons to both Buddy Holly and 1960s girl groups.They are also said to love "music from '50s oldies to '80s punk"


THE EXPLORERS CLUB - GRAND HOTEL (2012)


The Explorers Club are a Pop rock band originally from the coast of South Carolina.
Their second album "GRAND HOTEL" shows influences of soft-pop artists of the early-1970s such as Burt Bacharach.


LOUIS BERRY - SHE WANTS ME (2017)

Proud Liverpudlian Louis Berry signed a record deal after playing just two gigs. He performed an explosive set for BBC Introducing in 2015, which triggered a lot of interest This single was dubbed "hottest record" by Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1 and made it into the Top Five tracks of the week on XFM.



EDGAR "JONES" JONES - MELLOW DOWN PUSSYCAT (2007)

Jones is an English musician from Liverpool.He formed The Stairs, a sixties oriented band with English Beat, Garage Rock, Blues Rock and Psychedelic influences,after the breakup of the band in 1994, Jones has worked with Paul Weller, Johnny Marr, Saint Etienne, and Lee Mavers 


THE JAMES HUNTER SIX - I DON'T WANNA BE WITHOUT YOU BABY (2018)

James Hunter from Colchester, Essex is an English R&B musician and soul singer.
Hunter's career began with a band called Howlin' Wilf and the Vee-Jays, who released their first album in 1986 entitled Cry Wilf. Later he released three more with his own band. He spent much of the 1990s playing small clubs in London, such as the Weavers Pub in Islington, and the 100 Club on Oxford Street. Hunter's first solo release in the United States, his 2006 breakthrough album People Gonna Talk, was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Traditional Blues Album at the 49th Grammy Awards ceremony.



MAYER HAWTHORNE - THE WALK (2011)

Mayer Hawthorne is influenced by the music of Curtis Mayfield, Isaac Hayes,  Barry White, Smokey Robinson and the legendary songwriting and production trio Holland–Dozier–Holland. Hawthorne says, "I found my own unique sound,I've taken what I can from the classic heroes of soul and updated it with the music I grew up listening to.


MELBOURNE SKA ORCHESTRA - THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE ARE FREE (2014)

Drawing inspiration from the vast musical legends that have shaped the Ska genre, from the Jamaican movement through to UK Two Tone.
In addition to their highly visible presence on the Australian touring circuit, the band have built an impressive, ever-growing and dedicated overseas fan base.The band sold out their debut London show, appeared on the bill for the iconic Glastonbury Festival and played a headline set to a crowd 50,000 at the Montreal Jazz Festival during their 2014 tour.


THE PEPPER POTS - YOU'RE STILL IN MY MIND (2009)


Influenced by the musical trends of the 1960s, the Pepper Pots are a Spanish pop group modeled after the Ronettes, the Crystals, and other vintage pop acts. The large lineup includes three female vocalists as well as a backup band of male musicians. Although based in Girona, the Pepper Pots began drawing inspiration from other countries with their 2004 debut, Swingin' Sixties, which combined American soul music with Jamaican genres like ska and rocksteady. Shake It! followed two years later. By the release of 2009's Now!, the Pepper Pots had morphed into a 1960s pop throwback, shedding the reggae influences and embracing a rich, retro sound informed by Phil Spector, Motown, and Stax Records.

NEW STREET ADVENTURE - SHE'S AN ATTRACTION (2014)

New Street Adventure were an English band led by Nick Corbin, with many classic soul influences. Corbin first started the band as a college venture in early 2007, maturing over time to a professional unit. In January 2013, the band was signed to Acid Jazz.On 6 December 2017 the band announced on their Facebook page that their next gig, on 26 January 2018 at 229 The Venue, London, would be their last.

ELI "PAPERBOY" REED - COME AND GET IT (2010)

Soulful singer/songwriter with a bent toward vintage-influenced R&B.
Growing up in Brookline, Massachusetts, Eli Reed was exposed to a variety of music. His father was a critic and lent his extensive record collection to his son, who soaked up as much as he could, gravitating toward gospel, soul, blues, and R&B albums. Teaching himself piano, guitar, and harmonica and busking in Harvard Square.
